On Tuesday 14 February 2017 (yes, it was Valentine's Day) at 1130 Mary Cheyne, PsyD discussed this specialized field, the many roles forensic psychologists play, and the field's practical applications to the day to day challenges of organizations.

About the Speaker

Dr. Mary Cheyne is a clinical and forensic psychologist practicing across Connecticut. She provides consultation and training to businesses, organizations and schools, including best practices for threat assessment teams. Dr. Cheyne conducts violence risk and management assessments for schools. In addition, she conducts forensic evaluations for the juvenile and family courts and provides expert testimony. She is a member of the Northeastern Connecticut Juvenile Justice Review Board. She has been a faculty member for the Connecticut Family Court GAL-AMC trainings, lecturing to attorneys, judges and mental health professionals on psychological assessment, risk, interviewing and adult psychopathology.
