In this role, Cory was responsible for the business continuity management system of the University of Rochester which includes academic, research and healthcare, and EPIC disaster recovery planning.

Prior to joining the University of Rochester, he was employed at Paychex, Inc. as a Business Continuity analyst. His responsibilities included availability management, disaster recovery planning, and serving as the engineer/administrator of Continuity Software’s AvailabilityGuard™

(leading infrastructure/configuration management application for disaster recovery).

Emy is the Business Continuity and Compliance Coordinator for the Healthcare and Payer organization within Xerox Services Division

Emy manages over 200 business units for their business continuity plans maintenance and updates. She participate, coordinate, and consult on the units’ business continuity testing. Moreover, ensure compliance with Xerox policy and standards. Emy also, trains new employees on Xerox business continuity practices and procedures and provides coordination and support to external and internal audits.

Shari has been working for HealthNow Inc. for 6 ½ years in varied capacities including IT project management, Business relationship management for program scope generation and currently IT Technology Service Continuity in support of governing for resiliency

She is responsible for her teams’ business continuity plans as well as the IT disaster recovery infrastructure plans and run book procedures for the organization covering all business sites. This includes managing the annual exercise, updating all documentation content, software implementations and is currently managing the implementation of a new mass notification system for the organization. This also involves documentation to audit compliance on a continual basis.

Shari currently serves on the Eastern Great Lakes Association for Continuity Professionals board as Public Relations Director. She has been a member since 2003 and became a certified functional continuity planner with DRII in 2005 and supported EGLACP in other office capacities as secretary and membership director on the board.

Shari’s prior experience includes:
