The first Atlanta ACP Chapter meeting will be Thursday, March 5th, at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center (SNAFC) in downtown Atlanta. Light refreshments will be available (provided by OnSolve).

Ann will be leveraging her 25+ years’ experience in the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Communications field, presenting “Facing the Challenges of Communicating During a Major Event”. This topic is one you don’t want to miss!
Captain Charles Weir, Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Representative at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will facilitate an interactive, round-table discussion regarding preparedness and management of a health crisis situation, currently, COVID-19 (the 2019 novel coronavirus disease). This is a great opportunity for you to learn from and share your own experiences with your industry peers. Bring your expertise and/or your questions. Feel free to bring your pandemic or infectious disease plans as your own reference.

The main entrance to the building is located on Forsyth Street. Visitors must present a government issued picture ID. Visitors must go through the metal detector, sign in with the security desk and be accompanied by an employee.
Parking lot on Alabama Street, or behind the Atlanta Federal Center on Madison Street. Both lots require payment.
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) runs trains and buses. The closest rail station is the Five Points station, across the street from the SNAFC. It is the crossing point for the North-South rail line and the East-West rail line.
ACP Atlanta Chapter Guest Policy
The ACP Atlanta Chapter is pleased to welcome all guests to our Chapter meetings. Annual ACP membership with the Atlanta Chapter is only $125.00, (dues are prorated based on the date you join) and includes access to any ACP Chapter meetings, national resources and discounts to events nationwide.
Effective June 1, 2020, the ACP Atlanta Chapter will institute a “Repeat Guest” charge for non-members. The fundamental purpose of this charge is to help defray Chapter expenses. We will waive the charge for the first meeting that you attend. For subsequent meetings, a non-member guest will be required to pay ten dollars ($10.00), in cash or check payable to ACP Atlanta Chapter.
