Hello 2022 Central Arizona Association of Continuity Professionals!

I am honored to lead the Central Arizona ACP Chapter this year.  Our board is a strong and dedicated group of volunteers and we are planning a variety CEU topics for our meetings this year.  Many of you are aware but I want to take this time to reiterate that our meeting cadence changed from Monthly to Bi-monthly.  Please mark your calendars for:

February 3

April 7

June 2

August 4

October 6 - caveat, we try to utilize the Fall DRJ conference in Arizona in person meeting so this may change.

Watch the Event Page on our website for more information as we get closer.

December 1 (Member Appreciation Meeting)

Zoom meetings are slated to start at 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM.

Please refer to our Events Page on our website for information: www.chapters.acp-international.com/centralarizona

We are starting off 2022 with 40 members across the Phoenix metropolitan area.  Our membership renewal was due on December 31, 2021.  I want to say thank you for renewing your membership for 2022.  A key focus for the board this coming year is to rebuild our membership by 25%, increasing to 50 members by the end of the 2022 year.  I urge you all to talk with your peers and promote membership to ACP.

A positive note for our members, several chapters of ACP throughout the US have opened their meetings to ACP members from other chapters.  This opportunity gives us more availability for CEUs satisfying BCI and DRI requirements and it broadens our networking base.

All of the chapter’s work is focused on enriching your experience as members.  If you haven’t yet received it, a survey will be coming out requesting your feedback on current and future meeting topics and events.  Please let us know how we can better serve you.  Feel free to reach out to me or any of our Board Members via the website if you have ideas or would like to get involved.

I look forward to seeing you virtually!

Regards,

Joanne Storbeck
