Welcome to the Capital of Texas Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP). ACP is a professional organization that provides a forum for networking and sharing of information for business continuity, emergency management and disaster recovery professionals. We welcome anyone throughout public and private sectors interested in furthering their knowledge in the fields of risk.

The Capital of Texas Chapter serves the Austin metropolitan area and beyond. We invite you to attend our next meeting. Check the Events Page for information about upcoming meetings and look below for current updates. We look forward to spending time with you in 2020!

President's Comments

In 2021, we continue to face challenges that impact the way we live our lives. I pray that you and those special around you are healthy and staying safe.

After moving form Ausitn to work for a company in Irving, it turns out the move may not have been necessary. The fluid situation we are in could not have been predicted. Working remotely was not an option when I was hired, and now I am able to "work from anywhere". Moving closer to Austin may be in my future!

We continue with the decision to only host virtual meetings and have been relying on other chapters and ACP National to provide our members witrh valuable presentations and current information since there is not a Program Director on the Board of DIrectors this year. .

Please let us know if you are interested in serving on the board, have meeting ideas, or other recommendations by emailing us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We appreciate your participation and continued contributions!
