Jeremy Gudgeon, CBCP, is a Senior Business Continuity Analyst at Vanguard. He’s served as a continuity professional at Vanguard since 2011, leading planning and response for Retail, Brokerage, and Financial Advisor businesses. Jeremy serves as a Project Manager in his current role, focused on enhancing technology and leading business transformation. He previously managed Vanguard's global mass notification program and supported Crisis Communication and regional continuity programs around the world. Jeremy achieved his CBCP in 2016 and has been an active ACP member since 2013.

Outside of Vanguard, Jeremy serves on the Executive Board of the Chestnut Hill Community Fund, served 6 years on the Board of Directors at "Angel Flight East", and served 5 years as the Chair/Co-Chair of his alma mater's Alumni Association. Jeremy's previous roles have also included people leadership in Operations, and 2 years in Information Security.

Outside of work and volunteering, Jeremy enjoys traveling with his wife, and photography.

Donna Jacobs, MBA, has served for more than 10 years as ISC Technology Service’s IT Sr. Director of Infrastructure Operations at the University of Pennsylvania – Data Center Management, Network Operations, and associated Infrastructure disciplines. She is responsible for leading the ISC Operations’ team and its transition to implement the ITIL methodology into day to day operations, introduction of enterprise automation within the Operations environment, and implementation of a Quality Management System. The organization has attained their ISO 9001:2008 Certification. The ISC Data Centers also hold an ISO 20000 certification. They are the only Ivy League University Data Centers to have achieved these credentials.

In this (and previous) roles, Donna has traditionally been brought in to transform organizations into more efficient, high performance operations.

Donna is also an adjunct faculty member for Wilmington University’s Graduate and Undergraduate Programs in Technology.

Donna holds a B.A. from Neumann University and an MBA from Wilmington University.

Ruth Frazier, CBCP, is currently a Business Continuity Analyst at Vanguard, where she has worked for 20 years.  Ruth began her business continuity career in 2013 as a department coordinator and received her CBCP certification from DRI International in 2018.  At Vanguard, she has held various roles in Internal Audit, Defined Benefits, and Institutional Risk Management.  In her current role, she supports 40 volunteer department contingency coordinators with the goal of making their jobs easier.  Striving to have the best continuity program at the company has led her to spearhead projects such as:  a SharePoint site that allows the scheduling and tracking of results for communication drills, new and improved training on various continuity topics, and most recently a Division-wide personal awareness/preparedness project designed to increase engagement in business continuity by relating it to personal emergency planning.  Ruth has been an active member of ACP since 2015 and received the MVP award in 2018.  She has a BS degree in elementary education/special education from West Chester University and a certificate in accounting from Ursinus College.  Outside of work, Ruth enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and granddaughters, as well as her three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Tracy Gkonos is a Principal at ProTinue, a full service business continuity consulting firm, and has over 20 years’ experience in Business Continuity and Human Resources. Her industry experience includes working with international companies such as West Pharmaceuticals, Shire Pharmaceuticals, and DSM Food Specialties.  A background in both human resources and business continuity has allowed her to develop an approach that builds resilience into companies with an emphasis on leveraging human capital.

Tracy obtained a M.S. in Organizational Development from Villanova University; certifications from the DRII and the BCI; and an Agile Project Management certification from Pennsylvania State University.  She is a co-founder of Montgomery 1st, a Community First organization established to promote private/public sector collaboration in preparedness efforts, and participates on several local and regional committees promoting preparedness.  Tracy is a private sector liaison for the Chester County, PA Emergency Operations Center.  She has served as Secretary on the Association of Contingency Professionals Liberty Valley board. She has also been a Disaster Assistance Employee with FEMA.

Melody Wen, ABCP, is currently a Crisis Management consultant with Control Risks. Previously, she was a Global Crisis Manager at JPMorgan Chase and was a Business Continuity and Operations Risk Management Specialist at Chubb. Prior to Chubb, Melody held business continuity, emergency management, and security management positions with higher ed, healthcare, public and private sector organizations in the New York and DC area.

Melody holds a MPA in Emergency Management and is certified as an Associate Business Continuity Professional.

Currently, she is leading the development of an enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery program for a global life science manufacturing and distributing organization.
