Association of Contingency Planners - The First State (Delaware) Chapter is a non-profit trade association dedicated to fostering continued professional growth and development in effective Contingency & Business Resumption Planning. ACP is the recognized as the premier international networking and information exchange organization in the business continuity industry.
ACP provides members an excellent information exchange experience and opportunities to set response and recovery trends while strengthening relationships through public and private partnerships.
The First State ACP chapter members include business continuity, disaster recovery, audit/compliance, and emergency planners from the private and public sectors, including financial institutions, utility companies, schools/universities, property management firms, non-profit groups, local government agencies, third-party providers, and various other organizations. Founded in February, 2006, membership with 26 members joining or transferring to the chapter in the first year and growing!

Continuity Coordinator - Division of Corporations
Lori Gorman works for the State of Delaware under the Division of Corporations. She has been involved with Continuity of Operations Planning since 2004. Lori is the Division of Corporation's Continuity Coordinator, and also serves on the Delaware Continuity Coordinator Council (DECCC). Lori looks forward to involving herself with the First State Chapter serving as President.
Contingency Planning Senior Analyst - M&T Bank
Dolores is a Contingency Planning Senior Analyst at M & T Bank. She has 14 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery, mainly in the financial services industry. Dolores has been a member of ACP since 2003, both in the Liberty Valley chapter and subsequently in the First State chapter. This is her first year as Secretary of the First State chapter.
Business Continuity Analyst - M & T Bank
Jason is a Business Continuity Analyst for M&T Bank and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Wilmington University. Jason has been a member of the First State Chapter since 2006 and has held various positions on the board including Membership Director, Secretary, and is currently on his 2nd term as Treasurer.

Shannon is the President and CEO of a BCM/DR Consulting service, where she specializes in the planning, execution and post follow-up of critical business roles and system functions impacted by disastrous events. Shannon is currently serving her 3rd year as Programs Director. She brings best practices and guiding principles from past affiliation with the Liberty Valley Chapter and currently as the Programs Director of the First State Chapter where she has been a member since 2011.
Disaster Recovery Specialist - Department of Technology & Information
Claudette has been involved in emergency response and disaster planning for the past 8 years. She currently is working as a Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist with the State of Delaware Department of Technology and Information and is serving her fourth consecutive term as the First State Chapter Information Director.
