The ACP provides a unique, open, and unbiased forum promoting and fostering the information exchange and networking experience with opportunities to set trends in the emergency response and disaster recovery fields. Garden State ACP members have the opportunity to grow professionally by developing and strengthening their relationships with the incredible array of ACP public and private sector partners and sponsors.
Whether this is your first time registering online, ACP Garden State Chapter meetings are held the first Tuesday of alternating months at host facilities throughout northern and central New Jersey.

Richard has been an active Business Continuity professional for nearly twenty years, and also an active member of the Garden State Chapter of the ACP for nearly seven years. He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional for nearly 10 years and also a Certified Project Manager Professional. He is passionate about his duties and responsibilities in the management of business resiliency planning, testing, and training for the numerous organizations and companies that he had been involved with. Richard always welcomes the opportunity to further enhance his BCP experience as a member of the Board of the Garden State Chapter and also welcomes the opportunity to contribute to its continuing growth and success.

Lisa Maurer, a professional in Retail design for 30 years, is looking to change careers to a focus on Business Continuity. She is a current student of Emergency Management at American Military University and this year's DRI WBCM scholarship to continue her studies and complete certification. She joined the Garden State ACP chapter and will act as chair in the role of PR and Social Media development.

Dr. Jones is an Emergency Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Planning professional. He has worked within the IT field for over 20 years now and has worked in the DR/BC arena for the last 20+ years.
He had the pleasure of joining the ACP Garden State Chapter at the beginning of 2005 and has enjoyed the experience and has been able to work well with a very distinguished group that makes up the chapter board of directors.
Bernie has served as President & Education Director in the past and now serves in multiple roles as Secretary & Information Director (webmaster).
He completed doctoral research at NJCU on Benchmarking Organizational Resilience in the state of New Jersey.
