Meeting Policy: Members may attend all Greater Boston Chapter Meetings at no charge. First meetings as a non-member are free, it is $25 per meeting thereafter. “Managing to Measure & Measuring to Manage” presented by Christopher Green, FBCI

Chris joined Novartis in April 2015, and is presently Head of HSE & BCM Risk Management.  Prior to Novartis, he led the development of a global BCM program at Qatar Airways, the world’s 5-star airline.  Prior to Qatar, Chris was responsible for a team providing risk oversight of the Lloyds Banking Group's multi-billion pound annual spend on goods, services and Outsourcing.  Before moving to that role, he was Head of Business Continuity for HBOS plc (at the time, the UK’s largest bank) responsible for the Bank's BCM program globally.   Chris is also past Chair of the Business Continuity Institute (2006-2008) and past Chair of the British Standards Institute committee which published the world’s first formal Standards on Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery (BS25999 and BS25777) plus multiple guidance documents.

“ACP Greater Boston’s Annual After-Work Social”

Plan to leave work a bit early to join us for a purely social and fun event to celebrate summer, resting in the assurance that our BC and DR Plans are working (even while we aren’t).  Enjoy the company of your fellow colleagues, while we also gather for a dinner together afterwards.

There will be a minimal cost to hold reservations for the event and dinner, with The Chapter picking up the remaining costs for ACP Members.

“Regional Guest Speaker and Holiday Dinner”

Bundle up and join us in between holiday shopping and parties to come hear a regional personality talk about their job and perspective on preparedness while learning things to apply to the work we do every day.  Depending on whom is available, bring your phone for selfies with our guest to prove you were there!

After the meeting, we’ll gather at a local restaurant for dinner to celebrate the season and enjoy each other’s company.  This will be a non-Chapter sanctioned event, with Members covering their own costs.
