Certification & Training

DRII|

Maintaining your DRI International certification carries two requirements; an annual maintenance fee as well as Continuing Education Activity Points (CEAPs).

Certified Functional Continuity Professional (CFCP), Certified Business Continuity Auditor (CBCA for NFPA 1600) & (CBCLA for ISO 22301), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certified Public Sector Continuity Professional (CPSCP), Certified Healthcare Provider Continuity Professional (CHPCP): payment of an annual maintenance fee and the accumulation of continuity educational and involvement in the business continuity community every two calendar years.

Individuals certified as Associate Business Continuity Professionals or registered at a certification level as a Retired (Ret.) constituent simply need to remit the annual certification maintenance fee. Maintenance fees are billed in early fall and due by January 1 each year.

To submit recertification activities online, log into My DRI and select Submit CEAPs from the option under Manage My Certification Status.

A link to download the "CEAP Guidelines" (the points schedule document) is below the link Submit CEAPs. Even though the submissions are online, you are required to maintain proper documentation should the documentation be requested during the audit process.  Remember, record and report you're Continuing Education Points. (You'll need the activity's reference number from the Guidelines).

DRI Certification Suspension Notices

Suspension warning will go out via email to all constituents whom have fallen behind on one or both for the above mentioned qualifications. Once suspended, the designation can no longer be used.

Note: When submitting past-due annual fee, current year pricing will be applied.
