The Old Dominion Chapter (ODC) is part of the non-profit, international Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP).
ACP members are involved in all continuity activities from planning to exercising, monitoring and recovery, as well as evolving and promoting the business continuity profession.
ODC-ACP provides a professional environment for industry leaders to gather, share experiences and information.

In 2018 Clarence Elliott was re-elected to continue serving as our President of the ACP Old Dominion Chapter (ODC), with this 3rd "2-year term" covering the 2019 and 2020 calendar years. Connie Riffe was elected to serve as Secretary for 2019, filling this slot which was vacated by Marcia Swenck who was unable to complete the 2nd year of her "2-year term".
Subsequently, the following three board members are serving as officers for the local chapter with elected positions / terms in parenthesis: Clarence Elliott (President 2019-2020), T.L. Claytor, Jr. (VP - 2018-2019), Connie Riffe (Secretary - 2019) and Connie Riffe (Treasurer - 2018-2109).
The Old Dominion Chapter continues to invite members of the Business Recovery Association of Virginia (B.R.A.V.) to all of our meetings in an ongoing effort to stimulate the growth of both organizations. B.R.A.V. is an independent professional association of those involved in Business Continuity/Recovery and Contingency Planning. The B.R.A.V. membership is open to anyone who would like to participate. Leadership is by an informal Steering Group, lead by Clarence Elliott.
